Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric Events and Sales Co-ordinator to join our team at the ICC Gallery, here in Birmingham. As the first point of contact for clients visiting our exhibition space, you’ll bring passion, enthusiasm, and professionalism to every interaction. From providing expert knowledge on our exhibitions and artists to ensuring seamless event execution, you’ll help create unforgettable experiences that engage clients.
The Events and Sales Co-ordinator will be responsible for organising key event details, such as managing emails, guest lists, and ensuring events run smoothly. This includes reaching out to clients to invite them to exhibitions and assisting with their visit plans. You’ll build strong relationships across our business by providing excellent service, following up with clients, and keeping them updated on upcoming events. Additionally, you’ll facilitate video calls between sales consultants and clients, support viewings, and help drive sales. Your role will also involve managing the full event process - from preparation, including assisting with installations and maintaining the exhibition space.
Collaboration with the Head of Events and Events Manager is key to ensuring smooth execution of both ICC and company-wide events, along with supporting special projects and tasks as required.
What You’ll Bring To The Role:
• A passion for providing outstanding service and building relationships with clients.
• Comfortable engaging with clients via phone, email, and in-person. Confidence in talking to clients about exhibitions, artworks, and upcoming events.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks, from event coordination to client management, while maintaining high standards of service.
• You’ll be working closely with various departments, from sales to event management, ensuring collaborative efforts lead to success.
• Ready to thrive in a dynamic, ever-changing environment and grow alongside the business.
What We Offer:
• Great Career Prospects in a fast-paced and growing business
• Staff discounts and a benefits platform for other retailers
• Access to our Financial and Mental Wellbeing Platform
• Auto enrolment into our Pension scheme
• 28 days (pro rata) initial holiday allowance, plus 1 additional day for each year of service (to a maximum of 33 days per annum)
