Job summary We are seeking to recruit a Head of System Integration (Clinical) which will be a high-profile system leader within the Trust. The successful postholder will display strong effective leadership, with the gravitas and confidence required to optimise services to our patients through building upon existing referral pathways for our clinicians. The postholder will be a highly motivated registered clinician with a strong desire to further enhance our access to patient pathways and lead focused improvement in areas which will build upon the quality of experience for our patients and clinicians. Strong relationship/stakeholder management both internally and externally will be critical to the success of the postholder. Main duties of the job Working across multiple directorates of the Trust, the Head of System Integration will play a vital role in working with system partners including but not limited to careco-ordination hubs,111 and Out of Hours providers and improving accessibility of alternative pathways in conjunction with the clinical team. Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for working closely to implement ITK/BARS into systems where it is not available and to optimise the safety and timeliness of referrals into other system partners. The postholder will lead on the establishment of robust systems to monitor referrals within each ICS area, capturing attempted and successful referrals whilst also considering missed opportunities and develop collegiate plans to maximise clinically appropriate referrals.
