You will be expected to work a variety of different shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, and occasional night shifts (depending on the needs of the clients) as well as weekends and bank holidays.

About the role
Do you have the ability to communicate in British Sign Language?
Do you have knowledge of the Deaf community and mental health issues?
Do you have experience of ongoing client assessment and working in residential care?
Ideally, do you have a qualification in Health and Social Care or the Care Certificate?
Here at SignHealth, we are currently recruiting for people to join our Bank team (Nil hours) in taking on the exciting challenge of providing high-quality health and social care support to Deaf individuals, many of whom have mental health conditions.
We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, compassionate, and hardworking individual who is able to support individuals living in our community and in a residential care home.
As a Support Worker, you will undertake a range of tasks including working closely with the service manager and clients, building relationships, following support plans, completing and monitoring care plans, and supporting clients to develop themselves, their skills, and their relationships.
Due to the nature of this position, you will need to have a minimum of level 2 British Sign Language, or be a native/fluent BSL user, and understand the importance of sensitive data and storing data in line with GDPR regulations, care regulations, and the CQC.
