Key Responsibilities:
Designing and managing infrastructure projects, with a focus on drainage and highways
Overseeing the adoption processes for roads and drainage, including S278, S38, and S104 agreements
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery within stipulated timelines and budgets
Preparing and reviewing technical reports and ensuring compliance with national design standards and best practice
Mentoring junior members of staff and providing technical guidance
Utilising software packages such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Vehicle Tracking, KeyLINES/SIGN/POST, and Flow
Maintaining strong communication and organisational skills to manage records and project documentation
Job Requirements:
Experience in infrastructure projects
Knowledge of national design standards and best practice (i.e. DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN1/20, NRSWA etc)
Understanding of adoption agreements for roads and drainage (S278, S38 & S104)
Proficiency in relevant software packages (AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Vehicle Tracking, KeyLINES/SIGN/POST and Flow)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to manage tasks to deliver projects on time and within budget
Ability to mentor junior staff and produce technical reports
Understanding of the legal requirements related to highway and drainage adoption processes
