Do you have 3+ years of experience in teaching, training and development, preferably in a corporate setting, to bring to the (training suite) table? As Learning & Development Trainer, you will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes that enhance the skills, knowledge and performance of 850 employees in our diverse and innovative multi-site business, building on the broad choice of courses and comprehensive induction programme currently offered.
What You'll Be Doing As Learning & Development Trainer
As the company evolves, change is afoot so it's a genuinely exciting time to join us. Part of the wider 14-strong People team at our Benson head office, with its modern training suite, you will work closely with the Learning & Development Business Partner, who is taking learning and development at Grundon to the next level.
As Learning & Development Trainer, you will deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops and seminars for employees at all levels, from LGV drivers and office administrators to chemists and directors, leveraging learning management systems (LMS) and other technologies to enhance the experience.
Now to the other part of your job: developing and updating training materials and learning management systems (LMS) content to meet the evolving needs of the company; helping to identify training needs and skill gaps through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis; assessing the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback, assessments and performance metrics.
What You'll Need
* A relevant teaching or training qualification at degree level or equivalent.
* Relevant certifications such as a teaching qualification, Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or similar are desirable.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong organisational and project management abilities.
* Proficiency in using LMS and other training technologies.
* Full valid driving licence.
