Specification Sales Representative sought by the windows division of a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide, to cover their Midlands & South East region.
The Role:
1. Selling the company’s full range of window and door solution products for use in commercial developments / refurbishments
2. Developing relationships with key architects, specifiers, developers, consultants, and contractors
3. Generating product / system specifications in line with targeted expectations
4. Working closely with commercial fabricators and installers to defend specifications
5. Developing, hosting, and delivering technical presentations such as CPD seminars for architects and other construction professionals
The successful Specification Sales Representative should demonstrate:
1. A proven track record of sales success in the windows, doors, curtain walling, or building envelope sectors
2. Track record of specification sales
3. Project led
4. Knowledge of wind loadings and the fabric of a building
5. A confident presentation performer
6. Ability to interact with and draw upon a wide range of supporting services
