The Role
As a valued member of our team in Halton, the Support Worker will provide a high-quality residential domestic abuse service for individuals escaping domestic abuse and sexual violence.
This role focuses on empowerment and enabling others to take control of their lives and achieve various key outcomes including:
* Independent living skills
* Parenting and childcare skills
* Community links and social inclusion
* Meaningful occupation and pathways to employment
* Social skills and self-management
* Quality of life and aspirations
* Health and wellbeing
* Financial management and economic wellbeing
* Reduction in offending behaviour
* Management of alcohol and substance misuse issues
* Keeping safe.
The Support Worker will be part of our out-of-hours on-call service rota, requiring active involvement and a flexible approach.
We are seeking applicants with excellent communication skills and a commitment to working with families and children. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand the needs of vulnerable adults and young people is crucial.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a highly professional approach, appropriate initiative, and actions to respond to the complex needs of residents.
