Job Description
Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London 3/4 days a week in the office
Remuneration: £70,000 per annum - £75,000 per annum (negotiable) + £6,500 car allowance + Family Medical
Project type: Civils and Utilities
What you'll be doing:
* Develop and maintain relationship with clients
* Ensure Project Forecasting is accurately reported on a monthly basis
* Ensuring safe archiving and backing-up of all relevant commercial information relating to Projects and that it meets the required company and industry standard
* Monthly Commercial Reporting / Health Check Reporting
* Ensuring accurate Month-End CVR Reporting
* Ensuring all Commercial Activities are performed in an ethical manner while maintaining a competitive position for the business
* Reviewing and managing Risk and Opportunities
* Ensure cash-flow is maintained
* Manage and mentor team
* Any other reasonable requests as required by Management
We are looking for:
* Degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant subject
* Working knowledge of utility and construction sectors
* Working knowledge of contract law and commercial practice
* Knowledge of construction contracts and related procurement contract documents and practice
* Good interpersonal relationship skills with a confident, resilient approach
* Excellent commercial management skills with close attention to detail
* Good presentation and negotiating skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent IT Skills with good commercial awareness
* Ability to prioritize works and meet deadlines
* Managing and Monitoring Risk
* Honest and Reliable
