We are partnering with a leading multi-utilities solutions provider who is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team. You will manage existing client relationships with Housing Developers, engage with new prospects, and play a key role in pre-contract and tendering processes. Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee weekly and monthly cost/value reconciliations.
2. Act as the main liaison between operations and clients, managing variations and scope adjustments, ensuring timely justifications.
3. Coordinate with design and operations teams to monitor and improve the commercial performance of regional projects.
4. Lead monthly operational meetings to review project performance, identifying and resolving any issues affecting delivery.
5. Manage client valuations, maintain strong client relationships, and handle any disputes.
6. Oversee client debt management and prepare final accounts for completed projects.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in the multi-utility sector, particularly with Independent Connection Providers (ICPs).
2. Strong background in customer relationship management, particularly with developers.
3. Proficiency in commercial contract terms and negotiations.
4. Excellent communication and networking abilities.
5. Leadership qualities, with experience leading meetings and driving team performance.
6. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing client account and commercial reporting.
