Cleaning Supervisor
Job Description
We provide a cleaning service to housing schemes for a wide range of clients throughout London & the South East of England.
An opportunity has arisen for two Supervisors to join us. The first will manage a number of teams who carry out multi-site cleaning to the west of London. The second Supervisor is required for the East of London, in the same role.
Both positions will report to our cleaning manager. You will be accountable for managing the day-to-day delivery of our cleaning service to various housing schemes. The role will be part office but mostly field-based. Your primary role will be to manage your teams and support them as they achieve the standards required by residents and our clients.
Experience in the cleaning of residential/social housing would be an advantage. The majority of our work is for Housing Association clients, and we clean the common areas in blocks of flats and sheltered housing schemes in line with our clients’ requirements.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a can-do attitude, and take pride in delivering a quality service. You will be communicating with client representatives within the business as part of the role.
A company vehicle, laptop, and smartphone will be provided to support your role. Site inspections will be part of the role with any issues with standards addressed in a timely manner. You will be supported by your line manager to achieve the targets our clients expect us to reach.
Main Duties:
* Maintain communication with clients at all times.
* Responsibility for day-to-day service delivery and assisting with scheduling adjustments.
* Aim to deliver operational efficiency & high standards of service delivery.
* Budget awareness and participation with your manager when budgets are being set.
* Respond to customer complaints & queries at the first stage and escalate to your manager when support is needed.
* Maintain a safe working environment.
* Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new staff.
* Assist and support the training and ongoing development of cleaning teams.
* Ensure accurate attendance records are maintained and submit weekly timesheets.
* Help manage additional works that may come in.
Requirements:
* Experience of multi-site cleaning contracts.
* Team leadership and organisational skills.
* Good IT Skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence (manual gearbox).

Experience:
* Cleaning supervisory or Management: 4 years (preferred).
Licence/Certification:
* Full UK Driving Licence (required).
