Job summary
Beechwood Ward is an 18 bedded, Older Person's Acute Admission Ward. We treat everyone in our care with dignity and humanity, understanding individual needs and showing compassion while providing care that respects all people equally.
We promote least restrictive practice and have a very experienced and diverse team. Our nurses come from various disciplines (adult, mental health, and learning disabilities) and have experience from older persons, adult acute, PICU, child, and learning difficulties.
In joining us, you can expect ongoing support from a dedicated supervisor who will provide clinical support and facilitate your ongoing development. There is an opportunity to further your training with access to relevant courses and development.
We value work-life balance and are open to flexible working. While there is an expectation to work unsocial hours to meet service needs, we welcome applications for part-time and condensed hours.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
1. Provide physical and psychological care to service users in accordance with the specified plan of clinical care.
2. Carry out duties as designated by the person in charge.
3. Accurately record patient/service user information.
4. Provide support to relatives/carers.

Literacy and numeracy skills.

Previous experience in a health or care setting.
NVQ Level 2 in Care.
