Job Overview An opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Renal & Diabetes Dietitian to join the teams here in the central Integrated Health Community in BCUHB. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dietitian who has a specialist interest in renal & diabetes to flourish. The post is available as a permanent Band 6 position to those with practice experience, however we would also support appointment to a Development and Progression post, whereby a new band 5 could develop their competencies in the role, and progress to Band 6 on completion of competencies within an agreed period (depending on prior experience). Main duties of the job The Dietitian will support the Team in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to Renal & Diabetes, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency teams. You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students, and have secretarial and assistant support. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
