Job Description
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Join us as an Audit/Accounts Senior in Stockport. In this role, you will work within a well-established team, providing high-quality accounting and financial services to our diverse range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
2. Leading audit assignments for a diverse client base, reviewing and finalising audit work papers and financial statements.
3. Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
4. Reconciling client accounting records via Excel or accounting software.
5. Overseeing client payroll on a weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
6. Preparation and submission of monthly CIS returns.
7. Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
8. Utilising your expertise in accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to streamline processes and enhance client experiences.
Key Requirements
1. Qualification as an Accountant with a proven track record in General Practice.
2. Experience in managing and/or mentoring junior members of a practice team, with a focus on driving results and exceeding expectations.
3. Proficiency in navigating professional regulations and best practices, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and making a positive impact.
4. Self-motivation, attention to detail, and adaptability to evolving business requirements.
