Deputise for the CEO. Promote and support partnership working internally and externally to benefit patients, carers, staff and volunteers and the wider community. Report on all areas of responsibility to the Chief Executive and through agreed governance structures. Act as a positive role model who promotes team working, respect, innovation and excellence. Plan and develop clinical services and roles with increasing emphasis on local and national strategies, in conjunction with the CEO; working to fit them in with the business plan and strategic direction of the hospice.
