Job summary We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Band 5 Community Nurse within the Haltemprice Nursing and Conditions Team. This is a full time post up to 37.5hours. The service is delivered over 7 days per week and covers 8am to 8pm. Working hours will be within the operational hours described and offers a flexible approach to working hours. This post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations to carry out your work and to attend training and meetings. Daily access to transport is therefore essential. Main duties of the job The successful applicant will need to have excellent communication skills and have an adaptable approach to work in order to respond to the dynamic changes that occur in community nursing on a day-to-day basis. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate IT literacy skills. The Haltemprice Community Nursing Team provides holistic quality community nursing care to a dedicated client group who need support and care with Long Term Conditions management/ Complex wound care/ Palliative care. Care is delivered in patients own home environment (including residential care) and designated treatment rooms.
