We are looking to recruit a Senior Estates Surveyor to manage our small but busy Estates team. The role covers all aspects of Estate Management, including handling the acquisition and disposal of land and buildings, and carrying out landlord and tenant functions, valuations and development appraisals. Additionally the role is responsible for the day to day management of non-operational properties and for giving professional advice to Council Members and Officers on all matters related to the Estate. Candidates must have membership of the RICS with extensive experience of estate management and valuations. Effective communication and people management is key to this role, so the necessary skills to manage and motivate a team and the ability to negotiate and influence successfully at all levels is essential. If you are self-motivated and a technically competent Estates professional who is keen to make a real difference to the lives of our residents, then this is the role for you.
