Grade: 5 Salary: £30,060 - £32,654 per annum pro rata
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 March, 2026
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (over 3 days)

The Youth Drug and Alcohol Project (YDAP) is looking for a Substance Misuse Prevention and Education Worker to join our team on a fixed term basis until 31/3/26.
The postholder will be required to work directly with young people, communities, and families to promote prevention strategies in relation to substance misuse, provide support and interventions in line with Public Health’s contract with Together for Children.
This will include designing and delivering sessions to small groups of young people around substances as well as other evidence-based drug prevention such as resilience and coping skills.
The postholder will also be required to deliver training to teachers and other adults on how to deliver substance use education to young people and how to respond to a young person using substances.
