Job Description
Based at County Buildings, Market Street, Forfar.
This job is workstyle 2b - Fixed.
In this workstyle work is regularly undertaken at a fixed point within council premises. There is no requirement for out of office working. You will have a guaranteed shared desk and you will work where the service is needed to meet customer demands.
You will carry out the Registration of Births, Deaths, Marriages, Civil Partnerships and Stillbirths in accordance with the Handbook of Instructions issued by the Registrar General.
You will be responsible for the efficient operation of Registration functions (including the day to day management of Assistant Registrars) alongside two other Registrars and under the supervision and management of the Chief Registrar.

Requirements
You must have the ability to obtain a satisfactory basic disclosure certificate.
