Stores Person/ Administration Assistant
A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a Stores Person/ Administration Assistant for a 6-month contract initially to start in January, based on site at Heathrow Airport.
Responsibilities:
1. Stores Management/ Stock Control
2. Receiving and Inspection:
1. Receive incoming shipments of materials and products.
2. Inspect and verify the accuracy of received items.
3. Report and document any discrepancies or damages.
3. Storage and Organisation:
1. Safely store items in designated locations within the warehouse.
2. Maintain an organised and clean storage area.
3. Ensure proper labelling and identification of products.
4. Inventory Management:
1. Keep accurate inventory records using appropriate software or tools.
2. Conduct regular stock counts to reconcile inventory levels.
3. Assist in the ordering of materials to replenish stock as needed.
5. Documentation:
1. Maintain detailed records of received and dispatched items.
2. Generate reports on inventory levels and movement.
3. Assist with paperwork related to shipping and receiving.
6. Equipment Maintenance / Office Maintenance:
1. Maintain PAT testing records and Yearly Fire Inspections.
2. Ensure proper care and maintenance of stores equipment.
3. COSHH Management.
4. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues.
5. Ensure Network Test Equipment is maintained and annually calibrated.
7. Fleet Management:
1. Weekly Vehicle Checks.
2. Booking and managing Yearly Service, MOT & Safety Inspections.
3. Booking and managing repairs.
Experience Required:
1. Previous experience in store management or a similar role is desirable.
2. Familiarity with inventory management software is desirable.
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
4. MS Excel experience and knowledge required.
5. Must have a full driving licence.
