An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Surgical Directorate at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as a Service Manager.
This Service Manager post is a key position within the Directorate responsible for providing day-to-day operational management for a clinical service alongside delivering and developing improvement initiatives for patients and staff.

* A strong commitment to improving services whilst remaining passionate about quality and safety.
* A proven track record of successful operational management experience and will demonstrate a high standard of communication and organisational skills.
Above all, demonstrate a proficiency for working closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality care across outpatient, inpatient, and day unit settings.
About Us
The Surgical Directorate comprises surgical services delivering assessment, investigation, and treatments for patients referred on Elective and Emergency Pathways with benign and malignant conditions.
The surgical team delivers weekly operating lists across two sites to provide immediate and subsequent surgical treatment for patients who are diagnosed with Cancer.
As a team, the Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals, and Administrative team led by the Service Manager and Clinical Lead, work collaboratively together to deliver a timely and patient-focused service for patients in Oxfordshire.

Qualifications
* Acute operational management experience in a complex organisation.
* Experience of analysing and interpreting information to identify and manage variances in performance and identifying solutions to deliver improvement.
* Experience of designing/improving business systems and processes.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Salary: £46,148 to £52,809 a year, pro rata.
