An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Cardiologist with a specialist interest in Advanced Cardiac Device Implantation and / or Electrophysiology to join our dynamic team within NHS Lothian. In addition to the delivery of high quality cardiac services at St John’s Hospital in Livingston, the successful applicant would be expected to contribute to the regional cardiology service based at the Edinburgh Heart Centre. An interest in inherited cardiac conditions would also be beneficial.
The Edinburgh Heart Centre is a regional Cardiothoracic centre providing a comprehensive range of cardiac services including electrophysiology and implantable cardiac devices, complex PCI and structural heart intervention, and advanced cardiac imaging. We are supported by enthusiastic trainees, specialist nurses and physiologists.
