Job Title: Branch Manager / Auditor - Residential Conveyancing
Location: 100% Homeworking
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Company Description: A large law firm we work with who have a network of highly specialised law firms with a focus on residential conveyancing across the Yorkshire and Midlands are looking to recruit a branch manager / auditor to work across the group. As they continue to grow the Branch Manager will oversee the operations, manage team performance, and ensure the highest quality of services.
Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and management of several branch offices, auditing conveyancing files, providing feedback to fee earners, and supporting the branches to hit their respective targets. This is an excellent opportunity for a current fee earner looking to transition from day-to-day client work into a more managerial, advising role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee the operations of multiple branch offices specialising in residential conveyancing.
2. Conduct regular audits on conveyancing files, ensuring compliance with the firm's standards and regulations.
3. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to fee earners on their case files.
4. Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity across all branches.
5. Facilitate regular communication between the branches, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.
6. Track branch performance and generate reports to be presented to senior management.
7. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for staff.
8. Be up-to-date with all conveyancing legislation, keeping branches informed of any changes that may affect their operations.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a fee earner in residential conveyancing.
2. Exceptional knowledge of conveyancing legislation and procedures.
3. Prior management or supervisory experience would be beneficial.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
5. High attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying issues or inconsistencies.
6. Strong IT skills, comfortable with various software including case management systems.
