Position: Junior Payroll Administrator Location: Aylesbury Salary: £24,000 per annum Contract Details: Full-Time, Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of a leading payroll solutions provider that supports independent contractors, freelancers, and businesses. This growing company is seeking a dedicated Junior Payroll Administrator to join their team and provide vital support to their payroll department. The Role: As a Junior Payroll Administrator, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of payroll operations. This includes handling basic data administration, processing leavers, assisting with the company pension scheme, and resolving payroll queries. You will also support compliance activities and provide ad-hoc customer service as needed. Key Responsibilities: Basic data input and admin support for the payroll department. Process leavers and assist with pension scheme administration. Handle payroll queries and discrepancies. Update statutory payments, including SSP, SMP, and SPP. Produce sample payroll data for clients and manage document requests. Support compliance with payslip audits, ID checks, and contract updates. Provide ad-hoc customer service support during busy periods. What We Are Looking For: Minimum of 2 years’ office support experience. Umbrella payroll experience preferred, but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms. Strong communication skills, with confidence handling phone queries. Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
