We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Children's Care Worker to work in a residential care setting.
We have both regular shifts (35 hours per week) and bank shifts available.
Please note that we don't offer sponsorship, and the worker should be able to work full time without restrictions. We would need 5 years work references checked out before you start the shifts.
Rate of Pay: £16.00 - £19.81 per hour
Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Children's Care Worker to join our residential care team. Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment for children and young people.
Assist with daily routines, including personal care, meals, and recreational activities.
Support the emotional, social, and educational development of children in care.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to individual needs.
Encourage positive behavior and manage challenging situations appropriately.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Social Work, or a related field (or willingness to work towards it).
First Aid and Safeguarding training.
Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioral needs.
Skills:
A commitment to providing child-centered care and support.
Strong ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and professionals.
Ability to organise workload and manage time effectively.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and resourceful.
Trustworthy and reliable.
