Our Leeds office are looking for an experienced, professional and enthusiastic Qualified Senior Associate, to join our audit team. Applicants must be either ACA or ACCA qualified and be able to display a commercially minded and organised approach to client work.
You will become a key part of a growing team, which provides a wide range of audit, advisory and accounting services to a huge range of diverse clients.
Our Audit Senior Associates:
1. Project manage and drive forwards the audit and accounting process, including liaising directly with senior individuals in clients' finance teams.
2. Get actively involved in every aspect of the audit process, taking ownership of planning, fieldwork, and the completion on audit engagements, working closely with managers and partners.
3. Have the opportunity to get involved in the direction and overall running of the team. There may also be opportunities to work on ad hoc projects, department or firm wide working groups and client advisory work

The Team
These are exciting times for the local office with the recent expansion from Harrogate to brand new, purpose-built office space in Leeds City Centre in September 2024.
You will be joining a dynamic, supportive and collegiate Audit team, offering the opportunity to develop new skills and accelerated career growth opportunities.

4. Experience working in an audit and accounts practice.
5. ACA /ACCA qualified or equivalent with good pass rates in the professional exams.
6. Ability to identify, research and help to resolve complex audit issues.
7. Demonstrated experience of managing, training, and mentoring staff on projects, and assessing performance.
8. Technically strong with a good and up to date knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
9. Demonstrate a passion for delivering quality, ensuring that client needs are met.
10. Sets priorities, defines activities, gives responsibilities and plans work so that results are achieved on time.
11. Be organised and commercially minded. Displaying a flexible, professional approach and have the confidence to establish credibility with Partners and clients.
12. Work cooperatively with others, motivating others to succeed.
Reward and Benefits
13. A 35 hour working week with a hybrid working policy with the flexibility to work from home for up to three days per week (our core hours are 10-4).

15. Eligibility for the firm's Profit-Sharing Plan. Paid in December.
16. Paid overtime or time off in lieu.
