Job Description As a Junior Technical Artist at Entain’s In-House Studios, you will be responsible for both animating and integrating assets into the game engine, ensuring high-quality visuals and smooth performance. Working closely with Game Artists, Producers, and Developers, you will bring characters, UI, and game elements to life with rigging and animation techniques while optimising assets for gameplay. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your technical art skills in a fast-paced and creative environment. Proficiency in Spine is required. Key Responsibilities: Create and implement character animations, environment effects, and UI animations that enhance gameplay and user experience. Rig and animate characters and objects using techniques such as FK/IK, Track Blending, and deformation-based animation. Integrate assets into the game engine, ensuring animations and visuals function correctly within the game environment Optimise animation and asset performance to maintain smooth gameplay while preserving artistic quality. Troubleshoot technical issues related to animation performance and asset implementation, resolving problems efficiently. Collaborate with Game Artists, Producers, and Developers to ensure animations and assets meet creative and technical requirements.
