What You’ll Be Doing
As a Retail Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our clients by turning data into actionable insights. Your work will directly influence the decisions of leading global FMCG brands in the travel retail space.
* Data Preparation and Analysis:
* Extract, prepare, and analyse ShelfTrak data to uncover trends, insights, and opportunities for clients.
* Ensure data accuracy and integrity at all stages of the analysis process.
* Reporting and Presentation Development:
* Develop detailed and visually engaging client reports and presentations.
* Highlight key insights, actionable recommendations, and data-driven strategies.
* Client Collaboration:
* Work closely with global FMCG brand teams, understanding their business challenges and providing tailored solutions.
* Participate in client meetings to present findings and support decision-making.
* Category Insights:
* Contribute to category performance reviews, trend analysis, and forecasting.
* Support the Category Development Manager in delivering strategic client projects.
You’ll Fly in This Role If You...
Required Skills & Experience:
* Proven Experience:
* 2+ years in a retail analytics role, with hands-on experience preparing and interpreting data.
* Technical Expertise:
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data visualisation).
* Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a strong advantage.
* Retail Focus:
* Strong understanding of retail data and category management principles.
* Experience working with FMCG brands in a retail or data-focused capacity.
Desired Skills & Experience:
* Experience in travel retail or working with global brand owners is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:
* Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
* Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to present data and insights in a clear and engaging manner.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Collaborative and proactive approach, thriving in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
