Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and professional Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team on a 30-hour contract. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software.
Responsibilities
1. Greet and assist patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
2. Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with excellent phone etiquette.
3. Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
4. Process patient information, deal with prescription enquiries, liaise with pharmacies and nursing homes, summarise notes, recall patients for annual review, and perform general reception duties.
5. Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Experience
1. Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
4. A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks performed.
