About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Village Hotel Club. As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our busy kitchen operation, working closely with the Kitchen Manager to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Kitchen Manager in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen operations
* Manage food and payroll costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability
* Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment
* Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas, staying up-to-date with culinary trends and innovations
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality guest experiences
