Are you looking for an opportunity to develop your triage skills as a Band 6 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist as part of a well-established MDT providing a range of rehabilitation services?
If so, look no further, come and join us in the Core Community Services in Derby City.
Do you want exposure to a wide range of community-based rehabilitation settings?
We have an exciting, substantive opportunity for a highly motivated Therapist with a patient-centred approach and a passion for rehabilitation to work within the Core Therapy team with a particular focus in Triage. This will be a split role between triage and working clinically in the community.
Main duties of the job
Our integrated, multi-disciplinary team provides community assessments and goal-focused rehabilitation to support patients in their own homes and care homes.
The role of Triage is to identify the most appropriate place and service to meet the needs of the patient. Therefore, it is essential that you have a keen interest in this field.
You will have the opportunity to develop your skills of specialist therapy assessment and treatment in a community setting, alongside developing additional generic skills to provide a comprehensive assessment to a variety of complex patients.
As part of the role, there will be a need for travel in Derby City and the surrounding area. As a clinical employee, it will be your responsibility to ensure that your behaviour and values reflect those set out in the DCHS Way.
