My client, a global consulting firm, is looking for an Associate Director to join their M&A team covering the Thames Valley and South Coast. This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in the 2nd biggest market in the UK outside of London, expanding their execution and origination capabilities, and has a clear progression plan to Director and beyond.
Job Title: Associate Director – M&A
Salary: £90,000

Responsibilities Include:
1. Lead the team in executing transactions from start to finish across a diverse client portfolio.
2. Manage deal teams and work closely with junior team members to prepare documentation for disposals, acquisitions, and fundraising.
3. Play a key role in business development, liaising with clients, target businesses, and advisors throughout transaction execution.
4. Preparing pitch documents and marketing materials and supporting presentations and sales pitches for new businesses.
5. Overseeing the production of deal documentation, including information memoranda, teasers, and buyer research packs.
6. Driving the origination capabilities of the team.
Required Experience and Skills:
1. A Chartered Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in M&A.
3. End-to-end transaction experience, preferably across a range of sectors.
4. Experience across buy-side, sell-side, and finance raising transactions.
5. A commercial mindset, paired with a high level of accuracy, diligence, and integrity.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across a wide network.
