Job Description
Talent Acquisition Adviser
The Talent Acquisition Adviser will be responsible for working closely with the Talent Lead and hiring managers to provide a high-quality attraction, recruitment, and selection service for the business – focusing on quality, cost, and timeliness.
General Duties
1. Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from brief to onboarding.
2. Execute the recruitment plan agreed upon in key department meetings.
3. Work proactively with internal stakeholders to build relationships and ensure a connected approach; this includes the wider People Team.
4. Build solid relationships with key internal stakeholders across all departments.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with passive candidates to build a talent pipeline.
6. Support interviews and feedback; deliver efficient feedback and market insight.
7. Screen applicants, arrange and conduct telephone interviews, and arrange face-to-face interviews with our hiring managers.
8. Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
9. Cultivate partnerships with external agencies, leveraging their expertise when needed.
10. Ensure timely feedback is given to candidates and third-party suppliers, leaving them with a positive experience of JSM.
Essential Skills
1. Minimum of 3 years of recruitment experience (agency or internal).
2. Must have experience using an ATS.
3. Excellent people skills with the ability to build professional relationships quickly.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. A self-starter, with the ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously.
6. Talent pipelining.
7. Succession planning.
8. Experience composing job adverts.
9. Experience interviewing candidates.
10. Proficiency in hiring within the utilities sector is desirable.
