What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will support classes across school and will assist children with additional needs. Lunch time supervision will also be included in this role.
We are seeking to appoint a teaching assistant who
• Supervise and provide particular support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
• Assist with the development and implementation of Pupil Profiles / Behaviour plans and Personal Care programs
• Establish constructive relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs
• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
• Encourage interaction with others and engage in activities led by the teacher
