IBP Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Plant, Fleet and Logistics Administrator for our fast growing client. This is a key role within the Plant, Fleet & Logistics Department, and you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation within your specific region. Using information provided by the team, you will plan and manage the team's workload ensuring efficient and effective use of the time available. This role is based in East Grinstead.
Main Duties:
1. Monitor and report on compliance within the region.
2. Plan, prepare, and control available resources to the correct department.
3. Plan new driver inductions, equipment, and vehicle issues.
4. Engage with the Logistics team to support administration & e-mail traffic.
5. Control all vehicle issues & returns, recording all data within the Fleet Management System.
6. Manage all vehicle defects, minimize VOR Downtime, and ensure the reporting system is updated.
7. Ensure all Assets & Vehicles are kept in a safe and legal condition to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
8. Monitor performance in line with company procedures, policies, and rules, and challenge any non-conformity where necessary.
9. Ensure that our assets and equipment are maintained and tracked across the business, conducting safety inspections and auditing equipment.
10. Liaise with other Regions, Departments, and company functions and encourage a One Team approach.
11. Take on new assignments when required.

1. Strong IT Skills within Microsoft.
2. Experience in a Fleet Background.
3. Proactive with priority of workload.
4. Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
5. Self-motivated and thrives in a busy working environment.
6. Able to work unsupervised when required.
