Dylai ymgeiswyr fod â dealltwriaeth dda o adeiladu a’r rheoliadau adeiladu diweddaraf; ac mae’n rhaid iddynt fod yn gallu gweithio ar eu liwt eu hunain a meddu ar sgiliau cyfathrebu da. Mae gallu teithio ledled y sir yn un o ofynion hanfodol y swydd hefyd.
Mae’n rhaid i ymgeiswyr fod yn Arolygwyr Adeiladu Cofrestredig gyda’r Rheoleiddiwr Diogelwch Adeiladau, gydag o leiaf statws Dosbarth 1 neu’n gweithio tuag at statws cofrestru Dosbarth 2.
Fel Arolygydd Adeiladu Cofrestredig byddwch yn cefnogi dyletswydd y Cyngor i orfodi’r Rheoliadau Adeiladu a’r ddeddfwriaeth gysylltiedig.

Work base: Coed Pella
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a busy Building Control team.
We are looking for a well organised professional with appropriate qualifications and experience, to join our team. You will be responsible for your own area with the assistance of a senior officer, you will need to communicate well with all our customers, including building contractors, architects and developers.
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of applications, carrying out site inspections and dealing with dangerous structures. You will deal initially with more routine applications but with training leading potentially to more complex cases as you develop your skills and experience. Candidates should have a good understanding of construction and the current building regulations, they must be able to work on their own initiative and have good communication skills. The ability to travel throughout the county is also an essential requirement of the post.
Candidates must be a Registered Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator to be considered for this role, you should be a minimum of Class 1, or working towards Class 2 registration status.
As a Registered Building Inspector, you will support the Council’s duty to enforce the Building Regulations and associated legislation.
This role offers flexible working options for a work life balance. This can include adjusting your working day and hybrid working, ie a balance of office and home working.
