Job summary HOURS: We have full time and part time hours available. Applicants must be able to travel between our main surgery BN1 6AG, and our branch surgeries BN2 9SL and BN2 4GJ. This role will involve working closely with the Practice team including members of the Primary Care Network Team to support them administratively to deliver and provide safe and effective patient care. To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team. Main duties of the job Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required. To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers. You will be the friendly first point of access for patients, guiding them through the various patient pathways. You will need to be dynamic and organised, with the ability to understand the complexities of the Practice systems and the wider healthcare system. You will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of duties including administrative tasks as directed.
