Job overview
A post has arisen within the Orthotics Department for a cross-site administrator, based at Ealing Hospital with some cross-cover at Northwick Park Hospital. We are looking for a dynamic, friendly person who can work autonomously in a busy department.
The Orthotics Department is responsible for the assessment and supply of orthoses to individual patients. The service is based at Ealing and Northwick Park Hospital.
The hours of work will be 22.5 hours over 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday).
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for the Orthotics reception of patients for their appointments. In addition, they will have other duties including:
1. Booking new and follow-up appointments
2. Ordering orthoses
3. Accepting orthoses from patients for repair/renewal
4. Answering phone calls and enquiries from patients and hospital colleagues
5. General administration tasks

Education/ Qualifications
* Good general education (to GCSE or equivalent, including Maths and English)
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience working in an NHS environment
* Experience with Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel and Outlook
Skills, Abilities & Attributes
* Ability to work under pressure/deadlines
