Our client, a specialist and busy manufacturer of tailor-made portable buildings are seeking a Logistics Coordinator.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective transportation of our modular building structures, temporary units, and welfare services. You will be responsible for executing the logistics plan, ensuring the correct driver and equipment is used to meet customer requirements while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance in line with KPIs, SLAs and legislation.
Mon to Fri work, based on a 37.5 hour week,

Skills required:
Transport planning and / or TMS software.
Operating Licence Awareness.
Abnormal load movements
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Effective time management, managing multiple tasks and prioritising.
Ability to evaluate situations, identify problems, and find effective solutions.
Attention to detail accurately recording information and understanding customer needs.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
Driver management / supervision, including drivers hours & WTD.
Fleet maintenance coordination.
Experience required:
Fleet administration.
Logistics planning and despatch.
Service and maintenance bookings.
Vehicle scheduling and driver allocation
Our client offers:
£17.95 per hour
