We are recruiting an experienced estimator to join a market leading company who manufacturer, supply and install a vast range of fire-rated glass to the construction market working in various sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Leisure, Retail and Commercial. The main duty of the position is to determine the overall costs of new and existing construction projects, creating a list with all the needed materials and calculating an estimated amount necessary to complete the client's project. You will be working with Architects, Main Contractors, Joinery Company’s, Door Company’s, Partitions and Screen Manufactures. Key skills will include: Collate all details to successfully submit a relevant and accurate quotation to customers Check the suitability and application of the product that the customer has specified and offer a more suitable product to achieve the same result. Calculate costs by referring to existing customer price lists whilst achieving satisfactory margins. Raise an accurate quotation using order processing/estimating software and record all relevant information within CRM. Log and track all quotations and carry out a “follow up courtesy call” in line with company Estimators Procedures. Liaise with sales team to follow quotation to its conclusion Work closely with the Sales Representative in identifying new prospects and customers and recording contact and progress on our CRM system Maintain adequate records, keeping an up-to-date filing system for all quotations, in line with company Estimators procedures. Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential at all times. Contribute to team efforts by helping and assisting work colleagues to achieve goals. This position will suit has an experienced Gazing Estimator who has a high level of attention to detail, effective organisational and communication skills both and orally and written), and experience of providing excellent customer service.
