About the role The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, you should be a strong team player who embraces change and is able to work flexibly in order to meet the needs of the business and our customers. Ideally you should have some experience of dealing directly with the customers and working in collaboration with others to achieve results. You should have some understanding of the issues faced by individuals who are homeless or in housing need. You will be a self-starter who can demonstrate a range of skills that include excellent customer service, strong organisational skills, as well as an effective communicator with an ability to achieve results. Housing Advice Officers play a critical role in supporting the Local Authority to provide assistance and advice to people with a complex range of housing issues and as such we are looking for people that are passionate about achieving outcomes for individuals in need.
