We are looking for a full time Room Care Technician to join our amazing Maintenance Team. As a Room Care Technician, you will ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, visitors and colleagues. This is a varied and interesting role within a stunning 1,065-acre estate. As a Room Care Technician, you will be supporting the maintenance team in providing preventative maintenance of guest bedrooms. You will carry out a wide range of general pro-active and re-active maintenance, including but not limited to A/C filter cleaning, shower head descaling, visual electrical inspections, water temperature checks, statutory testing of Fire Life Safety systems. Working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 as per the rota (Shifts) You will need to be flexible regarding the days you can work. Weekend and bank holiday working is required. Full manual driving licence required.
Previous Hotel/Hospital Maintenance experience preferable
* Effective written and oral communication skills
* Experience with Microsoft office required.
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
* Be a team-player with a positive can-do attitude.
* Have attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Have the ability to interact with colleagues and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
