Overview
The European People and Capability team is looking for a Manager, People Business Partner to support various business teams and be accountable for people and capability management in support of UKI populations, through the implementation and adjustment of corporate/regional HR strategies, initiatives, guidelines, processes and systems across all HR areas, including: organization design and development, resourcing, talent acquisition, cultural change, talent management development and succession planning, compensation and employee relations.
This role is to be based in London, England, reporting directly into the Vice President, People Business Partner for UKI Division and may work with other business leaders located globally.
Role
- This role is a 12 month FTC.
• Responsible for the management and delivery of core People and Capability programs, including talent and performance management, learning, year-end compensation planning, and workforce planning within a business line or geography.
• Act as strategic partner, change agent and business partner with senior management teams to assess the HR impacts and implications, based on market business plans, on a short- and long-term basis.
• Acts as a primary point of contact with COEs and the GBSC on program delivery issues and customizations for the business they support
• Coaches' managers and employees on development, employee relations and reward issues
• Conducts development plan audits and ensures appropriate plans are in place
• May participate in the roll-out of wellness initiatives and on-boarding activities for a business or location
• Shares local intelligence and provides a "field perspective" on the effectiveness of programs and initiatives
• Resolves complex service issues that have been escalated from COEs or the GBSC
• Serves as subject matter expert on the local labour market and regulatory environment
All About You:
• Demonstrated success coordinating and delivering corporate P&C programs/processes (e.g., talent management, year-end compensation planning) and reporting on progress.
• Demonstrated success when consulting with leaders and other stakeholders on local P&C issues
• Experience building relationships and collaborating with other key stakeholders
• Demonstrates agility, sets priorities in line with business requirements
• Openly promotes leadership and cooperation across the organization; actively works to remove barriers to collaboration; works effectively across international boundaries and through a matrix environment
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
