To undertake a variety of loading and unloading tasks in support of the overall production and dispatch operation, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations., Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Operating a FLT to move stock around.
* Loading and unloading vehicles, Storage racking and process equipment.
* Picking and packing finished goods and raw materials.
* Carrying out product quality inspections.
* Checking stock for damaged or missing items.
* Maintaining an accurate record of stock and carrying out stock counts, as required.
* Finishing products to a consistently high standard.
* Monitoring the production process and carrying out basic testing and quality tests.
* Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff.
* Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse to ensure operational efficiency.
* Operating in a safe manner complying with all Health, Safety and Environment requirements to ensure own and safety of others.
Essential
* Prior work experience as a labourer in a similar environment.
* Fit for manual handling., Essential
* A Counterbalance fork lift truck licence and/or licence to drive assisted lift equipment.
* Current driving licence.
