Role: BMX Freestyle - Project Officer
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum dependant on experience

About you
* Good education background with an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent compensatory experience.
* Experience and interest in project management and/or event delivery.
* Relevant knowledge and experience of sports development, including club and/or competition development.
* Experience and/or interest in the sport of cycling, in particular BMX Freestyle.
* Experience of working collaboratively with an ability to communicate across internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience and/or an interest in turning data into compelling stories and case studies.
* Excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Ability to work efficiently on own initiative and to maintain a high standard of work under pressure.
What will you be doing?
* Leading and co-ordinating key projects linked to the British Cycling BMX Freestyle strategy and discipline plan.
* Supporting the development of a growing and thriving network of BMX Freestyle clubs in facilities across the country.
* Providing first-class logistical support to onboard new clubs and event organisers.
* Attending and supporting the delivery of BMX Freestyle events, across participation-based showcase events through to National Series Competition.
* Working closely with BMX Freestyle facility managers, event organisers & officials and club leads to support the development of the discipline.
* Developing effective and modern practices for capturing data linked to BMX Freestyle clubs and events.
* Identifying opportunities for the discipline to grow the workforce, with a particular focus on new coaches and event officials.
