We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Customer Account Manager to look after specific client accounts on a temporary basis initially for 6 months in the Darlington area.
You will act as the single-point-of-contact for assigned customer accounts; managing the entire order life cycle to ensure orders are processed on time to the clients requirements.
The key responsibilities will be as follows;
* Manage customer accounts throughout the order life cycle, including setup, order entry/modification, escalations, and logistics.
* Act as the main contact for customers, distribution centres, manufacturing plants, and cross-functional departments to process and fulfil orders.
* Provide accurate documentation and continuous communication to customers.
* Resolve complex customer inquiries through research and understanding of the clients processes.
* Escalate complex issues to higher support levels with proper documentation.
* Ensure compliance with export policies and compile necessary export/shipping documentation.
* Prepare and distribute internal and customer reports.
* Understand and follow Customer Order Management policies, procedures, and metrics.
* Support departmental goals and initiatives for proactive customer support.
* Participate in process improvement projects.
