General Insurance Broker South of Norwich - Office based Monday to Friday Due to the location of my client you do need your own transport £30K with an OTE of £35k - £45K My wonderful client set in a beautiful location are currently seeking an experienced and motivated General Insurance Broker with a specific focus on advising and arranging buildings and contents insurance. Key Responsibilities : Client Advisory : Provide expert advice on buildings and contents insurance products, ensuring clients fully understand their coverage options, policy terms, and conditions. Policy Arrangement : Assess clients’ insurance needs and arrange suitable buildings and contents policies from leading insurers, tailored to individual client requirements. Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service and advice throughout the duration of their policies. Market Research : Keep up-to-date with the latest insurance products, trends, and regulations to ensure clients are offered the most appropriate options. Claims Assistance : Provide support to clients in the event of a claim, guiding them through the claims process and liaising with insurers on their behalf. Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including FCA guidelines, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all client interactions and policy arrangements. Cross-Selling : Identify opportunities to cross-sell other insurance products (e.g., home, contents, and personal liability insurance) to clients where appropriate. Key Skills & Qualifications : Proven experience as an Insurance Broker, with a focus on buildings and contents insurance or property-related insurance products. Strong understanding of the general insurance market, including policy options, claims procedures, and underwriting processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and explain complex insurance terms in an understandable manner. Strong sales skills and the ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong IT skills and experience using insurance software systems. Ideally sourced with 3XD, Payment Shield and/or CETA previously Insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII, Dip CII) are desirable but not essential.
