The role We are looking for the right individual to join our team in Southampton. As a Shunter Driver you will be responsible for shunting containers in a timely manner. Key responsibilities Transport / Shunt containers within the port area in a safe and efficient manner. Drive Terberg Yard Tug to a high standard. Perform pre use inspection of yard tug and trailer to ensure safe operation. Follow safe operating procedures at all times. Provide excellent customer service. On site customer liaison, ensuring safety and security of the third party sites, as required. Maintain regular contact with the Shunt Planning team. About you Holder of full UK driving licence Deep understanding of the importance of health and safety and be committed to always upholding a safe approach to all tasks. It’s great, but not required, if you: Have class 1 driving licence. Have ADR licence. Have previous shunting experience. Have DP World access pass.
