Band 3 Starting salary £6,653 pro rata

Longhoughton CE Primary School is a small, inclusive school in a desirable part of rural Northumberland, at the heart of the village close to RAF Boulmer.
The Headteacher and Governing Body of this ‘Good’ school are seeking to appoint a wrap around care lead to start as soon as possible. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a stable and close-knit team in a thriving community in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
You will be required to provide safe and high quality after school care for children age 4 to 11. You must be able to work well within a team to support the Headteacher in ensuring the club meets the standards set by Ofsted.
The successful candidate must:
* Have experience working with children
* Have the ability to provide activities for a mixed age/ability groups
* Have confidence in their own literacy and numeracy skills
* Have the ability to work as part of a team and act on their own initiative as appropriate
* Be able to create and maintain a stimulating and enjoyable environment
* Remain professional at all times and approach all situations in a calm manner
The working pattern will be:
Monday to Thursday: 15:15 pm to 17:45 pm
Friday: 15:15 pm to 17:30 pm
