About the team:
If you’re passionate about delivering successful events and building strong relationships, then our Senior Events Executive role could be the perfect role for you. The role sits within the Marketing function and will predominantly be responsible for delivering events to support our lending brands as well as supporting our savings brands and some internal events. The role reports into the Events Manager and will work closely with the Head of Communications for Lending.
The role is based at our Chatham office but travelling to our other offices and event venues will be required.
What you will be doing:
As Senior Events Executive you will take ownership of delivering key events across the year, proactively planning and preparing attendees, timelines, budgets and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Post events debrief and analysis will be key in order to focus and target continual development of future events and enhancement of activities, ultimately driving an increase in sales.
You will be responsible for:
* Create, plan and lead on various events including a wide range of B2B corporate events and exhibitions and support internal events
* Deliver the events to agreed format, timeline and budget, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and partners
* Take ownership of the on-site co-ordination of events and management of suppliers, preferred partners gift management and stock control
* Report on the impact and findings of the events, ensuring that key knowledge and insight is captured
* Event attendance to oversee stand set up at Expos, research and support
* Ensure events are managed in line with the audit control process, adhering to FCA regulations and the Bribery and Corruption Act including all administration, costs, attendees and reporting
In return for your commitment:
We offer a base salary dependent on experience between £34,000 - £39,000 and a competitive benefits package including:
* Discretionary annual bonus opportunity of up to 15%

* Strong track managing corporate and B2B events from creation to the delivery on time and within budget
* Strong demonstrable experience working with a range of stakeholders
* Knowledge of event management systems
* Excellent organisation skills
* Previous experience and knowledge of project planning and execution relating to corporate events
* Excellent communication skills and experience of engaging with all levels of stakeholders and managing relationships
