Account Handler
Location: Ashford, Kent
Salary: £22,500 - £24,000
Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

The Role:
As Account Handler you will support the delivery of the strategy by effectively providing administrative support to the Insurance Executives, enhancing strong customer relationships that result in high levels of retention through excellent customer service provision.
Responsibilities:
* Undertaking preparation for initial policy reviews for face-to-face fact finds and renewal reviews, ensuring all relevant and accurate information is collated in advance.
* Consistently provide excellent levels of customer service in all interactions with potential and existing customers, delivering on promises, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
* Identifying and actioning opportunities for cross-sales for existing clients to contribute to growth, including introducing Financial Services products.
* Efficiently managing post review meeting actions – processing changes, checking documentation, drafting post-call reports, obtaining and communicating quotes, communicating terms and following up all actions to satisfactory completion.
* Attending or undertaking client meetings as required – ensuring these are conducted in a positive, professional and appropriate way.
* Arranging and providing appropriate advice on general insurance products ensuring customers have the best policies to cover their needs.
Skills and Requirements:
* Previous experience delivering excellent customer service is essential.
* Previous experience working in Insurance or Financial services is desirable.
* Previous experience in a highly driven and ambitious targeted sales role is desirable.
* Own transport and full UK driving licence.
* Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office.
